It's very well made and blacked out for that dark and heavy look. Super low action is a dream to play. 2011 is the last year this model was made.  The RG2EX1 is a hard-tail RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2005. It was a spot model which was sold exclusively by Guitar Center. The RG2EX1 features a basswood body with white binding bolted to a 3-piece laminated maple Wizard III neck with a 24-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include dual humbucking pickups and a fixed bridge. This one features covered Ibanez V7 and V8 pickups. The RG2EX1 was discontinued after 2011. WORK PERFORMED: Professional fret job (set, level, crown, dress and mirror polish), fretboard cleaned/conditioned, pots and switch cleaned/lubed, nut filed/polished, new strings (D’Addario EXL120 9-42), complete setup (truss rod, action, intonation, pickup height). Guitar cleaned and lightly polished. All parts/electronics tested and fully functional.
